The Student Assembly is the chief student governmental organization and the representative body of the students of Austin College. The organization actively advocates for students in campus issues and genuinely seeks to affect positive change by encouraging communication and involvement.

How to Get Involved
President Amie Johnson ’24 is expanding upon and deepening the connection between the work of the Assembly and the priorities of the student body. We really value your input and hope that you will get involved with the work of the Assembly.

Student Development Fund
The Student Development Fund was created as an opportunity for students to apply for funds in order to travel to conferences. The application can be filled out by one student or by a group of students - including student organizations. If interested in this fund, please fill out the application form. If you have any questions, please contact the Student Assembly at assembly@catalog.desireavenue.com.
Student Sustainability Fund
The Student Sustainability Fund (SSF) is collected from the Student Activity Fee, and enables and promotes campus greening improvements. The purpose of the fund is to provide monies for environmental improvements for Austin College and to move the college closer to its goal of environmental sustainability. The SSF works with the Environment Studies Department and faculty.
